| Description | The printed Kanjur from Urga was discovered in 1955 by Raghu Vira during a journey to Mongolia. A set was given to him by Юмжаагийн Цэдэнбал, then Prime Minister of the PR of Mongolia. The Urga edition was produced between 1908 and 1918 under the reign of the 8th Jibcundampa ( Ngag dbang blo bzang chos rje nyi ma bstan 'dzin dbang phyug rJe btsun dam pa bla ma (1869-1924)). |
