| Description | The printed edition of Narthang was initiated by the 6th Dalai Lama (1683-1705) but the carving work was stop with the death of the Dalai Lama. The undertaking was re-started by Mi pham pho lha bsod nams stobs rgyal (1689-1747) and the work was completed in 1732. |
